Terms of service
Last updated: June 2026
These terms govern your use of Tinytold ("the service"). The service is operated by Augmentic AB, a company registered in Sweden, trading as "Tinytold" ("Augmentic", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. You must be an adult to create an account; Tinytold is intended to be used by parents and educators on behalf of children.
Payments — Paddle as Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service enquiries and handles returns. Payments, billing, applicable taxes, invoicing, cancellations, and refunds are governed by Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms in addition to these terms.
Your content
You own the stories you create. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, render, and process them solely so the service can work for you.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not use it to generate content that depicts real public figures, sexual content, gratuitous violence, content that targets a real person harmfully, content that infringes intellectual property, or content that is otherwise unlawful. You must not attempt to interfere with the security of the service, scrape it at scale, or probe it for vulnerabilities without permission. Our safety filter blocks most prohibited content automatically.
Subscriptions
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through Paddle. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Renewal, pro-ration, and tax handling follow Paddle's Buyer Terms linked above.
Refunds
We offer a 30-day refund window on paid plans. See our refund policy for how to request a refund.
Intellectual property
The service, including the software, models, design, and Tinytold and Pip branding, is owned by Augmentic AB and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan. You must not reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the service if: (a) you materially breach these terms; (b) a payment owed through Paddle is not received; (c) we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or a security risk; or (d) you repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable-use rules. Where appropriate, we will give you notice and a chance to fix the issue first. You may stop using the service and close your account at any time from the parent dashboard.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those required by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow such limitation.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence still apply.
