Every paid plan includes all art styles, the story-richness slider, saved characters, read-aloud narration, Arabic with Latin pronunciation, and PDF, booklet and ebook exports. No. The page cap is story pages only. A 10-page Creator book is ten story pages plus a cover illustration made for it.

Four story pages at the shortest. The longest depends on your plan: 10 pages on Creator, 14 on Family, 20 on Pro. Longer books than your plan allows are not offered.

Five steps, from very short toddler sentences to longer paragraphs for an older reader. It sets how many words go on a page, separately from how many pages the book has and separately from the child's age. Denser settings put more text on each page, which leaves less room for the picture in print.

It is designed for mobile browsers: making, reading, listening and exporting all run in the browser and there is no app to install. Dictation depends on your browser supporting audio recording and on you granting microphone permission, so it is not available everywhere.

Pip writes the story first, then draws a character reference sheet, which helps the same characters look consistent from page to page rather than guaranteeing identical drawings, then the pages and cover, then the narration. In our own runs a 4-page book took about one to two minutes and a 20-page book about five minutes. That is what we measured, not a guarantee — a busy provider can take longer.

It is saved where it stopped and you can resume it. Finished pages, pictures and audio are kept and are not made again. If a book never got started, the monthly slot is returned to you; resuming a book you already paid for does not charge the slot a second time.

Yes — 2 redraws per book, on any page, with a note about what to change. The old picture stays visible until the new one succeeds. Automatic retries after a technical failure are counted separately and do not use up your redraws.

Yes. Paste or type your own text, one paragraph per page, and give it your own title. Your words are kept exactly as written; the pictures are made for them, and narration can be made too if you want it. You can also read and edit the text before any picture is drawn.

The story language picker offers 34 choices, including 7 Arabic varieties. 29 of them can also be narrated; the rest are written only, and the reader says so rather than pretending to have a voice. The app interface itself is available in English, Swedish, French, Spanish, German and Arabic, and is chosen separately from the story language.

Arabic stories are written right-to-left with proper letter joining in the reader and in the exports, using an embedded Arabic book font. You can pick Modern Standard Arabic or a regional variety — there are 7 Arabic options in total. Dialect wording is a best effort by the model, not a certified translation.

For Arabic books we can add a Latin-script pronunciation line underneath the Arabic text of a page, in the reader and optionally in the export. It reads in the same order as the Arabic but is not aligned sentence by sentence. It is generated from the final saved Arabic text and is a reading aid — it is not a strict academic transliteration standard, and you can correct it.

Narration is the book read aloud in a chosen voice; it is generated by AI, not recorded by a person, and we say so in the reader. Dictation is the other direction: you speak your story idea and we turn your recording into text you can edit before anything is made.

Export the home-printable booklet in A4 or A3 and follow the guidance in the export window: print at actual size in landscape with no borderless enlargement, and choose All sides, Fronts only or Backs only. The sheets come out in printing order and the pages inside the book carry page numbers, so you can check the order as you go.

Automatic double-sided printing is only for A4 plain paper. A3 and thicker photo paper have to be fed by hand: print the fronts, let the ink dry, then feed the same sheets back for the backs, keeping them in the order they came out. The export window includes a one-sheet calibration print, a reverse-backs option for when backs land on the wrong sheets, and drying and refeeding notes.

Your library stays readable and downloadable. Cancelling stops future months; you keep the plan until the end of the period you have paid for. Unused books do not roll over to the next month.

An invitation-only complimentary allowance of 3 books a month up to 20 story pages, with every paid feature. It is paid for by us and added to an invited account by hand. There is nothing to choose or apply for on the site.
